I have over 40 years experience in providing customer service with companies like Houston Light and Power in Texas, American Express and Bellsouth. I developed and perfected my skills at communication and providing a top level of service to all of my clients. I now find that these skills have assisted me in making sure all of my real estate clients are completely satisfied with the service I provide in assisting to buy or sell. In addition, I feel that it is imperative in this changing market place to continue to educate myself and that has been a top priority in my career. I also feel strongly about giving back to the community by volunteering with local organizations, like Wounded War Heroes and pet rescue groups. My most proud moment was winning the NABOR Realtor of the Year award in 2020!
I specialize in representing my clients in the purchases and sales of single-family residences and income property within St Tammany Parish, Tangipahoa Parish and Washington Parish. On a personal note, I am originally from South Florida and moved to Louisiana in 1999 to be close to my daughter and grandchildren and have not regretted that decision. I feel that this is definitely my home. Current hobbies of mine include traveling, reading and dining in some of the wonderful Louisiana restaurants. I also enjoy playing with my dogs Molly, Yoshi and Toby (all rescue pups). I love working with people. One of my clients recently said that there is no pressure working with me, just gentle guidance. In 2016, I moved to Hammond to continue my education at Southern Eastern Louisiana University, obtaining a bachelor's degree.
Before pursuing my passion of helping people find their perfect home, I was a Lead Veterinary Technician for 5 years helping animals in the Hammond area. While my husband and I loved Hammond, in 2020 we finally took the jump to move to Slidell, LA to further our careers in the New Orleans area and be closer to our families. My husband and I have owned our home in Slidell since 2020 with our English Bulldog, Baine.
My husband works as a manager at the St. James Hotel in Downtown New Orleans. We have been married since November 2018, and we were blessed with our son, Noah, on Halloween 2021. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family, cooking, traveling and being an active member in the community! I have spent ample amounts of time combining my love for traveling and family by spending time in Europe throughout the years. Born and raised along the bayous of southeast Louisiana, I know what it means to live the cajun culture and how important it is for our lifestyle. I am a weather buff and father, and reside in the historic city of Ponchatoula, LA. Working in the communications industry for over 15 years, keeping you updated and feeling "at home" has a whole different meaning to me. My service areas include the entire north shore of Lake Pontchartrain as well as the city of New Orleans and even parts of the south shore.
Ulysses Arthur Barnes III, best known as Tre', was born and raised in Venice, Louisiana. He attended Thomas Jefferson High School in Harvey, Louisiana and has also lived in Slidell, LA and Lacombe, LA in between his 4 years of college. Due to living in several parts of southern Louisiana he is well-versed in the real estate market all around and prepared to assist anyone from anywhere.
He attended Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Neuroscience. During his time in college he developed a love for assisting others of all ages by accumulating over 150 hours of experience in a clinical physical therapy settings. He also mentored and developed individuals for personal training and injury prevention.
Tre' was a 4-year starter on his collegiate football team and served on the leadership council as well. While being a Student-Athlete in a leadership role he had a natural tendency to exhibit the necessary qualities of being a leader, and is known amongst his peers for being extremely perspicacious and dedicated to whatever endeavors he engages in.
He enters the world of Real Estate as a 2nd generation real estate agent. He has served our country on active duty for five consecutive years during a time of war from 2002 thru 2007, he now serves in the United States Army Reserves part-time.
